What does Smart auto compression do?
For JPG and WebP, the tool first adjusts encoding quality. If you enable Smart auto compression and the target is still not reached, it tries smaller image dimensions. Review the reported output dimensions before downloading. Exact target sizes are not guaranteed.
Does PixReqly upload my image?
No. This tool uses your browser's image canvas functionality. It does not send your image to our server for processing. File size and quality may vary depending on your browser and the source image.

Frequently asked questions
Will it always reach exactly 50KB?
No. Encoding is content-dependent. The tool tries to stay at or below your target; when it cannot, it shows the actual output size and a warning.
Will auto compression change my image dimensions?
It can, but only when the Smart auto compression option is enabled. Turn it off to preserve the dimensions you selected.
